Nacde Bobadillo

Music Instructor

Ms. Bobadillo is originally from El Paso, Texas, where she graduated from Del Valle High School.  As a young musician, she attended the Mile High Jazz Camp in Boulder, Colorado and was a featured performer at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.  She went on to attend New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. While attending college, she was a sousaphone player in the Pride Marching Band and a jazz bass player in local and university jazz ensembles.  For seven years, Ms. Bobadillo was a Senior Team SWAG coordinator for the Bands Of America/Music for All Summer Symposium.  She has previously directed high school and university bands in Texas and New Mexico, where her students received multiple awards and recognition.  Ms. B has been with UMA-Camp Williams since its opening, and serves as the Music Director and the Electives Department Chair and the Faculty Advisor for Student Body Officers. Ms. Bobadillo was selected as the Utah Charter Network 2021 Outstanding Teacher of the Year and the 2021 VFW Teacher of the Year. She will also represent Utah as part of America's Band Directors' Marching Band in the 2023 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC.
