Mickey Stinson

SPED Instructor

I am originally from Twin Falls, Idaho.  I have lived in Utah for 10 years. I attended the College of Southern in Twin Falls, Idaho where I earned an AA in Secondary Education English. I then transferred to Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho where I received a Bachelor degree in Language Arts, and minor in World History.  I attended Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I earned a Masters in Art of Teaching degree with a certification in English and Special Education.  I taught one year at Lehi Junior High School in Lehi, Utah. I have taught three years, (this I s my 6th year) at Utah Military Academy. I currently teach 7th and 8th grade English and supplemental classes. I was the first person in my family to graduate from college. I love to knit, crochet, sing, read, cook, and spend time with my family.
