MSgt Ricardo Jimenez is from San Diego, California and enlisted in the United States Air Force in April 1998 when he was 21 years old. He graduated from Air Traffic Control Technical School in November 1998 and then from the Weather Technical School in April 1999. His career took off as a Weather Technician and his duties have included assignments at 12 different locations to include Edwards AFB (California), Davis-Monthan AFB (Arizona), Kunsan AB (Korea), Fort Hood Army Installation (Texas), and twice to Hill AFB (Utah). He deployed to Iraq (once), Qatar (once), Afghanistan (twice), in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve, and Freedom Sentinel. He also deployed to Europe (twice) in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. MSgt Jimenez retired from active duty on 31 July 2021, and now works at the Utah Military Academy. 

He is married to the most beautiful woman in the world, Amy Jimenez and he has 5 wonderful children (Ricardo, Betthzy, Anthony [Active Duty Air Force], Gabriel, and Noah).
