Biography

I am the Art Teacher here at Utah Military Academy. It is currently my second year here. Last year I helped take part in assisting the Transition Class and was a Paraprofessional part-time along with teaching the Art classes. I am devoted to student success and setting them up for the best futures when they graduate from UMA. I teach the Art Team Time on Wednesdays and have taken over the D&D Team Time on Thursdays. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Oregon State University, where I majored in Graphic Design and a minor in Photography. I am passionate about Art and encourage cadets to ask questions and participate even without experience! Art is an incredible privilege that UMA provides, and I try my best to show students that Art can be used in many ways after graduation.
