Biography

I am the counseling assistant and transition coordinator, and this is my second year here at UMA. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from Utah Valley University, and plan on eventually pursuing my masters degree in counseling. I previously worked at a residential treatment center for teen girls, which is where I developed my passion for helping teens. This last year I developed an entire new curriculum for a transition class (adulting) to be taught to high school students to help with transitioning from high school to real life. I also created the master schedule and assist our counselor with various tasks such as class changes, grad paths, CCR’s, hope squad, college tours, scholarships, and much more. In my free time I enjoy doing anything art related, reading, and traveling.  .
